A consultation was held in the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which issues related to the housing provision program for people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh were discussed.
Those in charge noted that they have discussed the draft program with the representatives of beneficiaries, civil society, banks and development organizations.
The consultation focused on the possibilities of issuing a certificate for the purchase of a residential house, issuing a certificate for the construction of an individual residential house, assistance in repaying the existing mortgage loan and granting the right to live in a social housing fund.
Issues related to the number of beneficiaries participating in the housing provision program, their current location, support conditions and the dates of the program's phased implementation were discussed. An earnest exchange of ideas took place, various proposals were presented.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the implementation of consistent steps towards solving the housing problems of people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and emphasized the need to revise the project based on the presented recommendations.
