On April 25, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Alex Carnes, Majority Clerk of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on the Department of State and Foreign Operations, Andrew Platt, Professional Staffer and Paul Rademacher, Department of State Bureau of Legislative Affairs Senior Appropriations Advisor.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hovhannisyan commended the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and the U.S. and touched upon the Armenia - U.S. bilateral agenda as well as the prospective spheres of cooperation.
Issues related to the U.S. assistance to Armenia, as well as the arrangements reached as a result of the joint Armenia-EU-US high level meeting, held on April 5, 2024 were discussed.
The Deputy Foreign Minister touched upon the recent developments in the region and presented the outcomes of the last meeting of the State Commissions on delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
