Tehran welcomes and respects the agreement reached by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the issue of border delimitation, said Nasser Kanaani, Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
According to him, Yerevan and Baku should continue efforts to resolve border issues peacefully for the sake of peace and stability in the South Caucasus.
He emphasized that this process should be based on mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries.
