Baku has agreed to the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced during a meeting with representatives of foreign think tanks.
"Kazakhstan turned to us with a proposal to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. We agreed to it and agreed that if Armenia also agrees, the meeting will take place in Kazakhstan," Aliyev said.
He also stated that Azerbaijan has no plans to join the EAEU.
"We do not have such plans, but we cannot say that it cannot become a subject of discussion in the future. Everything will depend on what additional economic benefits we will get from membership," Aliyev said, adding that Azerbaijan has a self-sufficient economy.
