Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský met today with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to the statement of the Czech Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed, among other issues, the political and security situation of the South Caucasus. Lipavsky noted that Prague is interested in the stability and security of the region, adding that the mutual recognition of territorial integrity by Armenia and Azerbaijan is of fundamental importance.
The Czech Foreign Minister highly appreciated the mediation efforts of the EU and the US, as well as the direct negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. He welcomed the latest agreement on delimitation.
