Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz on Tuesday responded to Turkey’s export restrictions on Israel following the war in Gaza and said the country “voids trade agreements with Israel”. Katz added Israel will appeal to its allies in the U.S. Congress in order to inspect Turkey’s breaking of the contracts and look into issuing sanctions against the country in response.
“Israel won’t surrender to violence and coercion. We’ll take similar steps against Turkey which will harm the country’s economy,” Katz said in a statement.
