During the briefing, Spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, referred to the terrorist attack that took place in Crocus City Hall on March 22, as a result of which, according to the latest data, 143 people were killed. Moscow blames Kyiv for organizing the terrorist attack.
The Spokesperson of the US State Department informed that on March 7, Washington sent a warning to Moscow about the terrorist threat in crowded places.
"I think the Russian government is engaged in propaganda and disinformation. They are trying to use this tragic terrorist attack to justify their aggression in Ukraine," the official said.
The representative of the White House, John Kirby, called Moscow's accusations against Kyiv for involvement in the Crocus terrorist attack as nonsense. According to him, the Islamic State is responsible for what happened.
"The United States has tried to help prevent this terrorism, and the Kremlin knows it," Kirby added.
