On March 20, Armenian Ambassador to Spain Sos Avetisyan met with the President of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, Francina Armengol Sosias, the Armenian Embassy to Spain reports.
Ambassador Avetisyan presented to the interlocutor the latest regional developments, the ethnic cleansing and massive forced displacement of the indigenous population of Nagorno-Karabakh, the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Armenia's positions on key issues, the Crossroads of Peace project developed by Armenia's Government.
During the meeting, the importance of strengthening parliamentary ties between the two countries and mutual visits of parliamentary delegations was also emphasized.
