During the regular briefing, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, once again accused the West, particularly Paris, of allegedly creating tension in the South Caucasus and undermining the peace process.
She referred to the recently spread news that Azerbaijan provided military support to Ukraine. Zakharova gave an evasive answer saying: "Federal agencies are checking all information about possible arms supplies to Kyiv and are discussing the issue with the relevant countries."
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted. "It is a fundamental issue for Russia. We classify states and countries according to the following principle: do their actions pose a danger to Russian citizens? Note that the Azerbaijani side has officially denied the report about the supplies. We are in contact with Baku."
Maria Zakharova concluded: "The main thing is that there should be no such messages related to Armenia regarding the supply of weapons to Kyiv. It would just be a misunderstanding."
