Today, during the weekly briefing, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, referred to the process of delimitation of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"These matters need to be resolved calmly, constructively, there is a mechanism for this; it is the Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation commission. We [i.e. Russia] are ready to help with this work, taking into account our experience. Within the framework of this structure, work should be done on the basis of the above-mentioned principles," said Zakharova.
According to her, what the Armenian Prime Minister stated should not be associated with Russia in any way, and it was decided solely by the Armenian leadership in communicating with the West.
"I would like solely those who make those decisions in Yerevan to take responsibility for the steps they took under the influence of the West," said Zakharova, noting that the Russian side informed about it, including through bilateral channels.
