Kazakhstan and Armenia are not only close partners, but also partner countries. We have maintained our values of mutual respect and support for centuries, although our languages and religions differ. The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, said this during a joint press conference with the Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
“For us, Yerevan plays a special role both in the CIS and in the South Caucasus,” he said.
Murat Nurtleu also emphasized that the positions of Kazakhstan and Armenia on some international processes and challenges are close, and opinions often coincide.
