Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that Armenia will leave the CSTO if the organization does not answer the question of what it envisions as the sovereign territory of Armenia, and if that answer does not correspond to the ideas of the Armenian side.
"Moscow heard Pashinyan's statements. A lot of work needs to be done, to clarify the situation, contacts are needed both within the framework of the CSTO and at the bilateral level," said Peskov. He added that the decision to hold an extraordinary summit of the CSTO in connection with Nikol Pashinyan's statement will be made by the organization's representatives.
