Turkey can be useful in establishing regional peace as a leading country in the region. Toivo Klaar, the EU special representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, told during the Diplomacy Forum in Antalya.
“The EU is involved in the stability and security of the South Caucasus with a long-term perspective. Peace is possible. It should also include the unblocking of the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan according to the 1991 Almaty declaration, including ensuring the connection of the mainland of Azerbaijan with Nakhijevan,” said the EU Special Representative for the Crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia.
