If Azerbaijan accepts the principles I talked about and agrees to put it on paper, then they can be solved very easily. Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia, Special Representative of Armenia on the issue of relations with Turkey, said in response to the question about border delimitation and communications.
In response to the assertion of militarization, Rubinyan said that Armenia is not doing this, but is simply defending itself, which is logical considering that there is some security concerns due to Azerbaijan.
“We don’t have any aggressive behavior or similar motivation towards our neighbors, we recognize their territorial integrity. At the same time, we have the right to build our defense. I would like to remind you that Azerbaijan has bought and buys weapons from different countries, and we have the reasons to think that this is not done only for self-defense,” Rubinyan concluded.
