Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the occasion of the national holiday. The message states:
"I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of the national holiday of Japan, the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, friendly relations based on democratic values, mutual respect and trust have been formed between Armenia and Japan.
Currently, in the conditions of many challenges and threats in the South Caucasus and the world, Armenia attaches great importance to the further deepening and expansion of partnering relations with Japan, highly valuing Japan's multifaceted support for the development of various sectors of Armenia. In this regard, I reaffirm my invitation to you to visit Armenia in order to discuss issues related to strengthening bilateral interstate relations.
I wish you good health and new success, and well-being and all the best to the friendly people of Japan."
