Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a meeting with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, Armenia’s government press office reports.
Mrs. Hidalgo noted that she is very happy to host the Prime Minister and emphasized her continuous support to Armenia and the Armenian people. The Мayor informed that in September of this year, it is planned to open Charles Aznavour’s park in the center of Paris, where the bust of the famous chansonnier will also be placed.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked for the warm reception and noted that he fondly remembers the Mayor's visit to Armenia on the mission of supporting the forcibly displaced people from Nagorno Karabakh. Nikol Pashinyan highly praised Anne Hidalgo's efforts in the direction of agendas related to Armenia and the Armenian people.
The interlocutors emphasized the development of cooperation between Yerevan and Paris, particularly in the fields of transport, construction, tourism, and culture. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the need to share the rich experience of Paris Municipality with Yerevan in different directions.
Anne Hidalgo noted that Paris is ready to consistently develop and strengthen cooperation with Yerevan, including within the framework of various international platforms.
