Azerbaijani fitness trainer Kamil Zeynalli was detained at Moscow's ՛Domodedovo՛ airport. The issue of his detention is under the control of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic informed.
Zeynalli stated on his Instagram social network page that he was brought to the police station because Armenia declared an international search for him. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia Polad Bülbüloğlu also announced this in an interview with the media.
According to the media, during the 44-day war, Zeynalli committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, and was also involved in the organization and coordination of attacks by Azerbaijanis against Armenians in the Russian territory in July, 2020.
