During the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke in favor of the quick conclusion of negotiations between Baku and Yerevan, and highly appreciated their efforts to resolve differences peacefully. This was reported by the German Government.
"During the tripartite conversation, the Chancellor expressed his support for the early conclusion of peace negotiations between the two countries. Germany and Europe will be ready to support it with their forces," the message said.
It is noted that the Chancellor highly appreciated "today's promise of both sides to resolve differences and open issues exclusively peacefully and without the use of violence."
