Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien held talks in Munich. The parties discussed the recent tense relations between the USA and Azerbaijan, the perspective of the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process.
Bayramov once again blamed Armenia for allegedly inciting tension on the border. He claimed that the Constitution of Armenia contains statements questioning the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan also stated that the mission of the European Union in Armenia does not contribute to the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus, but, according to him, is used as a means of anti-Azerbaijani propaganda.
