On February 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia had a meeting with Robert Dussey, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Togolese Abroad of the Togolese Republic.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of the development of bilateral relations and the activation of political dialogue, expressing mutual readiness in that regard. The Ministers emphasized the mutual interest in the development of ties in various directions, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, as well as culture, the formation of the legal contractual framework necessary for this purpose, and the organisation of high-level reciprocal visits.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Togo also discussed issues of cooperation on international platforms.
At the meeting, the security situation in the South Caucasus was also touched upon. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia briefed on the current challenges and the vision of the Armenian side in overcoming them.
