The 60th international security conference, the world's most prestigious forum on security issues, has started work in Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
The event is attended by 180 high-ranking government representatives, including heads of state and government from almost 50 countries.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is also participating in the conference. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Munich.
The main topics of the conference will be the wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as in Somalia, Sudan and Haiti. Other important topics will be the supremacy of international law as a basis for coexistence, the possible reform of the UN Security Council and climate change.
