The inauguration ceremony of Ilham Aliyev took place in Baku. He assumes the position of the President of Azerbaijan for the fifth time. Aliyev received more than 92 percent of the votes in the snap presidential election held on February 7.
According to the assessment of the OSCE observation mission, it had passed with a number of violations and restrictions, in the absence of an alternative. After the inauguration, the Azerbaijani Government resigned. The new composition of the Government will be formed soon.
