Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Greek Ambassador Christos Sofianopoulos, who has just assumed his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
The premier congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, and wished him effective work for the further development and strengthening of Armenia-Greece friendly relations. Pashinyan emphasized the continuous development of cooperation between the two countries in all domains, including the expansion of trade and economic ties, as well as the implementation of new joint projects. Noting that Armenia has a full agenda with Greece, in the context of its implementation, the PM stressed the active and intensive cooperation between the governments of the two countries.
The interlocutors discussed the organizing of high-level mutual visits in the near future, the Armenia-Greece multi-sectoral cooperation agenda, the Armenia-European Union cooperation, the democratic reforms being implemented in Armenia, and the ongoing processes in the South Caucasus.
Views were exchanged also on several other topics of mutual interest.
