Azerbaijani media reports that the republic has purchased new Akıncı attack drones from Turkey, and the Air Force has already received them.
The Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan and the technical director of the Turkish "Baykar" company Seljuk Bayraktar also informed the head of the country about the conditions created in the drones academy and the unmanned aerial vehicles. It was noted that all conditions have been created for military training. According to sources, the academy is equipped with all kinds of necessary technologies and equipment meeting modern standards.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Aliyev and his son Heydar Aliyev have visited the Air Force military facilities and watched the flyover of the Akinci unmanned combat aerial vehicle, which had been recently introduced into service.
