Armenia's Foreign Ministry responded to the decision of the Francophonie Permanent Council to grant Yerevan the right to host the 2027 Francophonie Sports and Cultural Games.
"The Permanent Council of the International Organization of Francophonie has unanimously approved Armenia's candidacy for 2027 to host the 10th Francophonie Games in Armenia.
It is a great honor for Armenia to be chosen as the host country for this prestigious sports and cultural event," the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
