In our negotiations and contacts, the issue of captives and detained persons is always on the agenda, and we continuously discuss these issues, put them on the discussion table. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session, answering the question of Lilit Galstyan, deputy of the ‘Armenia’ faction, about the military leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh.
“This is a very sensitive issue, also for a long time we did not return captives, but it turned out that in December 2023 we managed to return 32 of our captive brothers. And as before, today the issue of release and return of captured persons, captives, hostages and other detained persons remains on our agenda,” he said.
