Any contacts that will contribute to the strengthening of the peace process are welcome. During the briefings of the National Assembly, Gevorg Papoyan, deputy of the 'Civil Contract' faction, expressed a similar opinion, referring to the news about the possible meeting of the Parliament Speakers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the near future.
"I know what we are talking about, it is within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Besides, as far as I'm aware, we don't see such a problem. Any contact that will contribute to the strengthening of the peace process, if it will, we obviously do not discourage, but welcome. As for what will happen, I think we have to wait a bit," he said.
