Vedant Patel, Principal Deputy Spokesperson referred to the possible meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in upcoming weeks.
“I don’t have any – I don’t have any scheduling updates to offer, Alex, but we look forward to talking more about this soon”, Patel said.
When asked about US’s role in solving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Patel said, “This is something that the United States and that the Secretary is interested in and that this is something that we’re going to work very hard to get across the finish line in close coordination with Armenia and Azerbaijan and the others who are working on this issue, including Coordinator Bono”.
