Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi will visit Ankara on Wednesday at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, IRNA news agency reports.
President Raisi will visit Turkey at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation.
He will hold private talks with Erdogan, which will be followed by the 8th meeting of Iran-Turkiye Supreme Council of Economic Cooperation chaired by the two presidents.
After that, the two presidents will talk to reporters at a joint press conference.
During his visit, President Raisi is also scheduled to meet with Iranian and Turkish businessmen as well as Iranian expatriates.
The trip was scheduled to take place on January 5, 2024. But it was postponed due to the terrorist attack in the Iranian city of Kerman two days earlier.
