Magnitude 5.2 earthquake hit 89 km south of the city of Shamakhi, Azerbaijan at 22:06 local time (14:58 GMT).
According to the Seismic Protection Service of the Armenian Ministry of Interior, the quake was registered at the depth of 10 km, and the intensity reached 7 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in a number of settlements in Armenia’s Syunik Province.
