France strongly condemns the violence against the Armenian community in Jerusalem's Old City, which has taken place after numerous attacks by militant extremists in recent months. It was mentioned in the microblog of
X of the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem.
"The Israeli authorities are responsible for preventing such violence, as well as for any change in the status quo.
France reaffirms its solidarity with the Armenian community in the Old City of Jerusalem and will continue to monitor the situation with all attention," the Consulate said.
