Labour and social organisations gathered on Wednesday in front of Buenos Aires' Supreme Court of Justice to support the General Confederation of Labour (CGT) in its unconstitutionality appeal against the decree of urgent necessity (DNU) signed last week by President Javier Milei to restructure the economy.
The attendees have insisted on the idea - supported by the Peronist-inspired trade union centre - that this measure is not "constitutional".
Argentina’s President Javier Milei drafted 30 key reforms on Wednesday, December 20, as part of a package aimed at deregulating Argentina's economy and modifying labour and rent legislation.
Inflation has reached its peak since Milei took office and he continues facing major protests.
