Russia's cooperation with the Armenian side within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is built on a pragmatic an mutually beneficial basis. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia, Maria Zakharova.
"Each year an increase is observed in the economic indicators in Armenia itself. We see that Yerevan is reaping considerable dividends from its participation in the EAEU. Despite some controversial statements by the representatives of the [Armenian] republic, we and our Armenian partners, like other EAEU member countries, are building a constructive, depoliticized dialogue,” Zakharova said
"From January 1, the presidency of the EAEU passes to Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Yerevan is focused on the coordinated implementation of tasks within the framework of EAEU in the medium and long term. We support the same spirit of our partners for further effective work aimed at the further strengthening and development of the Eurasian economic integration," added the official representative of the Russian MFA.
