The position of the Armenian side towards the CSTO will change when the CSTO declares that the Azerbaijani armed forces are located in the sovereign territory of Armenia, that is, in the territory of the CSTO, and they, along with all other countries, demand that the armed forces leave the sovereign territory of Armenia. Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan announced this in a briefing with journalists.
"Until there is an approximately similar statement, political assessment, political effort, there is no need for Belarusian and Kazakh soldiers to come here and force them out, until there is something in the form of such a statement, the CSTO is not working. If the CSTO does not protect its territory, then the CSTO does not work," he said.
