Benjamin Netanyahu has appeared to rule out a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Israeli Prime Minister continued his strong rhetoric against Hamas, warning that Israel will not stop its military campaign in Gaza until the militant group is "destroyed".
He added that Israel's objectives remain unchanged, including securing the release of hostages and "removing the threat from Gaza".
His comments come as the political leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, travelled to Cairo for talks with Egyptian intelligence chief, Abbas Kamel, on a possible truce in Gaza.
