The exchange of captives between Armenia and Azerbaijan took place in the area of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the Tavush province. 'Lurer's' correspondent Norayr Shoghikyan works in the part of the border where the exchange of captives took place.
Presenting the details, he noted that the Armenian side handed over to Azerbaijan 2 servicemen who crossed the Armenian border in Syunik province in April 2023, and the Azerbaijani side handed over 32 captives to the Armenian side.
The exchange took place in accordance with the December 7 agreement between the Armenian Prime Minister's Office and the Azerbaijani President's Administration.
Earlier, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan published the names of 32 servicemen who returned to Armenia from Azerbaijan.
