Azerbaijan should return to the negotiation table. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this during a joint press conference with the Estonian Foreign Minister.
"I think that Azerbaijan should return to the negotiation table, meeting format, process.
We have several times had the occasion to say that most of the work has been done, in fact, if we are talking about the treaty, and now we need to meet and come to agreements, to finalize important issues," said Mirzoyan and added that the main issue of negotiations is content.
"If we look closely at the issues of formats, our last 2-3 years of negotiations were bilateral, at least that's what we declared, they were facilitated by international actors. We believe that this is how we should continue, to some extent they have shown their effectiveness.
I have already said that most of the work, the great part, the biggest part, I would say, is already done, if we go back and continue to work with the same accepted mechanisms, we will be able to achieve a quick result. The missing component or the component that we would like to see, and which will come to complete this whole chain and bring it to a logical end, is the political will of the leadership of Azerbaijan, which must be manifested or not manifested now, and I hope it will be manifested," said the Foreign Minister.
