Great Britain also welcomed the efforts of the heads of the two republics aimed at the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. The Minister of European Affairs of that country, Leo Docherty, wrote in his
X microblog.
"I am greatly encouraged by the statement from Armenia and Azerbaijan reconfirming their intention to normalise relations. As I underlined during my recent visit to both countries, the UK fully supports their efforts to reach a historic and lasting peace," Leo Docherty stated.
