The Buenos Aires City Legislature voted 59 to 0, with 1 abstention to adopt a statement condemning the actions carried out by the Republic of Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh.
In the statement, the Council condemns and expresses great concern regarding the forced displacement of the Armenian population and the inhumane conditions created for them as a result of the actions of the Republic of Azerbaijan that violate the ceasefire agreement, the blockade of the Lachin corridor and the resumption of hostilities in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Buenos Aires Legislature calls to guarantee the safety of civilians and respect the international humanitarian law.
