During the briefing, Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, referred to the situation in Upper Lars, which some representatives of the Armenian Government called political pressure.
"Some representatives of the Armenian Government consider it a political pressure, while some representatives do not. And the second fact that proves that this is not the opinion of the entire country, and even more so of the entire political institution of the country, is that a few days ago, within the framework of the dialogue between the profile agencies of Armenia and Russia, discussions of the Eurasian Economic Commission took place regarding the transportation of goods through the multilateral checkpoint of Upper Lars regarding the issues raised by the Armenian partners, as well as the export of Armenian agricultural products," said Zakharova, adding that the discussions took place in a substantive and constructive atmosphere.
She noted that there are clear mechanisms for solving such problematic situations, which are being launched right now.
