NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg spoke about the situation in Ukraine in an exclusive interview with ARD.
To the journalist's observation that during the 2 years of the conflict, there is not as much progress as could be expected, Stoltenberg noted. "There hasn't been much over the past few months, but the Ukrainians have been able to inflict heavy casualties on Russian forces with cruise missile attacks, destroy aircraft and helicopters, and push the Russian Black Sea Fleet back into the eastern Black Sea."
He refused to predict the future of the conflict, stressing: "I am always cautious about making predictions about the actual situation on the front line, because wars are by their very nature unpredictable. The only thing we know is that the more we support Ukraine, the sooner the war can end."
