Baku believes that a historic opportunity to achieve peaceful coexistence between Azerbaijan and Armenia has been created, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan stated at the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE in Skopje.
Jeyhun Bayramov once again claimed that it was Azerbaijan that initiated the process of normalization of relations with Armenia. According to him, Armenia should realize that peace will be achieved through dialogue and normal relations with its neighbors.
"And the geopolitical intrigues of other entities are ineffective and delay the peace process. The biased and one-sided actions of some countries seriously hinder the establishment of stability," the diplomat said.
Bayramov also stated that concerns about the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh are groundless. He repeated that during the attack against Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azerbaijani forces acted in an exemplary manner and did not force any Armenian residents to leave their homes.
In his speech, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan also emphasized that the OSCE has lost its relevance, and it has not been able to regulate the situation in the region.
