Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Wednesday, "there is no way we are not fighting back until the end" in the Gaza Strip, Roya News reports.
In a video statement on his official social media platforms, Netanyahu stated that “since the beginning of the war on Gaza, three objectives have been set: eliminating Hamas, retrieving all captives from Gaza, and ensuring that Gaza will not pose a threat to Israel again. These three goals remain in place. In the last week, we achieved a very great achievement - the return of many dozens of our hostages. Before this week It would have sounded imaginary, but we achieved it.”
US President Joe Biden affirmed that he will not stop working until all captives held by Hamas “return home,” he stated in a post on his personal “X” account. He further added that the two-state solution is the only way to ensure long-term security for both the Israeli occupation and Palestine.
Axios reported on Tuesday that the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William Burns, and Mossad Chief David Barnea, have participated in discussions in the Qatari capital, Doha, with Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani regarding expanding the prisoner exchange deal to include Men and IOF soldiers.
