The Aerospace Intelligence website, referring to the pictures taken by the SkyFi satellite, reports that the Azerbaijani military is building a base for Soviet-made "An-2" aircraft in Yevlakh. It is said that there are now at least 41 aircraft at the airbase, only 150 km from the border. According to Aerospace Intelligence, during previous escalations, such aircraft were used by Azerbaijan to identify the Armenian air defense system.
The armed forces of Azerbaijan conducted firing exercises during which, according to the country's Ministry of Defense, Su-25ML aircraft fired 250- and 500-kilogram so-called "smart bombs" at land targets.
According to the department, "all targets were destroyed by precision strikes." No details were given on the type of bombs.
