Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan said today the country's tourism industry was developing at a rather good pace.
"More than 2 million foreign tourists visited Armenia during the first 10 months of 2023 and we expect to have 2.4 million tourists by the end of the year. This is about 25 percent more than in 2019, which was the best year in terms of foreign tourists visiting our country," the minister said at a session of the parliamentary committee on economic issues.
Kerobyan noted that the government's target is to have 2.5 million tourists per year by 2026.
