On November 19, the MPs of Italy and Croatia being in Armenia to take part in the works of the Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly taking place in Yerevan visited Tsitsernakaberd M emorial Complex.
The guests laid flowers at the Eternal Fire perpetuating the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims and honoured the memory of Holy Martyrs.
The member of the delegation of Italy Catia Polidori noted: “Every time I go to Tsitsernakaberd, I feel what I have felt during my first visit.”
According to her, the Parliament of Italy not only strongly condemns the Armenian Genocide, but also all what happens in the last period. “We believe that we should do everything for preventing it,” the MP underlined.
“We are here to pay tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims. It is impossible to forget the history. We’ll do our best for preventing wars in the world,” the member of the delegation of Croatia Davor Bernardic said.
The parliamentarians went to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents and materials proving the massacre.
