During the weekly briefing, Maria Zakharova answered the question of how intense the contacts between Armenia and Russia are now in the diplomatic field, and what issues are discussed first.
“Well, of course they're intense. First, all the agreements reached at the highest level are discussed. And, of course, the contacts in the existing mechanisms, which I mentioned. We have intensive contacts regarding our mutual obligations, agreements, bilateral relations.
But, of course, we cannot fail to record the sometimes aggressive rhetoric of individual politicians in Armenia, which is beyond the limits of adequacy, aimed not only at the representatives of the Russian government, but also at journalists, experts and our entire country. We cannot not react to them. Official Yerevan is still taking steps that also do not correspond to what they agreed on.”
