The most important political-operational significance of the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project is that we visually show what we want, what readiness we have expressed. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said about this during the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session, reminding that there are “corridor” conversations regarding the topic, so Armenia has set its own parameters within the framework of the project, which has not been outside of those parameters for about 3 years.
According to the Prime Minister, the peace agenda and the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ are about security.
“We have no influence on creating the content of our geographic location, others always decide our geographic location instead of us. This is the whole problem,” said Pashinyan, noting that today there is no one with a worse geographical position than Switzerland, but the geographical position of Armenia exactly repeats the geographical position of Switzerland, as well as Austria and the Czech Republic.
