A meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, will take place today in Brussels.
Heads of foreign political departments of EU countries will participate in the Council session.
"Today we will focus on three issues: Ukraine, the situation in Gaza, Azerbaijan and Armenia," Borrell said.
According to the head of EU diplomacy, the ministers will discuss the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh, in particular, the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as EU support to Yerevan.
Borrell said that the European Union can expand its monitoring mission in Armenia in response to "threats to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the republic by Azerbaijan".
In addition, according to the EU representative, the community is discussing how to support Armenia in strengthening its stability, including in the field of security.
