Magnitude 4.3 earthquake hit 23 km northeast of the city of Maku, Iran, at at 18:58 local time (14:58 GMT).
According to the Seismic Protection Service of the Armenian Ministry of Interior, the quake was registered at the depth of 10 km and the intensity reached 5-6 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Armenia’s Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces, as well as in capital Yerevan.
